Newcastle Can: Businesses

Newcastle Can is on a mission to come together and change the way we live, work and play to create a healthier city - at home, on the high street and at work.

As we spend most of our waking hours at work, it’s a great place to encourage a healthier lifestyle. Tackling health at work will lead to a healthier, happier and ultimately more productive workforce - business can and should be at the forefront of the fight to create a healthier nation and paving the way for others to follow.

There are many businesses already doing amazing initiatives to prompt better health at work - if you’re one of these, we want to hear about what you’re up to! If you’d like more help in getting more going at your workplace, then we want to hear from you too!

This isn’t just about weight. It’s about everyone’s health and wellness. It’s about us getting fitter, healthier and happier. It’s about us setting an example and improving the future for the next generation.

There are already numerous businesses across the city getting involved in the Newcastle Can and encouraging their staff to get healthier as a team.
